Text Etiquette Tips 

​

  • Who should text first? No rules for 2023, however, it's special when the man texts first.

  • Acceptable texting hours - 7am - 9pm.

  • Texting everyday is expected, if interested. Make sure it feels natural and reciprocated.

  • Dry texting (i.e. - one word text messages) is a BIG No-no! Wait until you can provide a thoughtful text response!

  • Emojis and GIFs: Emojis and GIFs  can add fun and express your feelings better than words sometimes.

  • Stay Positive: Keep your early conversations light and happy.

  • Be Patient: Sometimes, people can't reply right away.

  • Plan Dates: When you're ready to meet in person, use texting to set up dates.
